"The alternative to the release of animals is to eat less meat" someone said on tv regarding the campaign to educate the public against releasing animals such as birds, rabbits, bullfrogs and terrapins to the wild (nature reserves) during Vesak day. I kinda like the idea.
Imagine if everyone stops eating meat for a day, how many lives would be saved?
That way the demand will reduce and the supply will automatically be reduced.
Today is Vesak day in Singapore ;)

On my way home from work, one of the DJs said on the radio “The ability to play the clarinet is the ability to overcome the imperfections of the instrument. There's no such thing as a perfect clarinet, never was and never will be”... That sentence really did put a smile on my face. The same goes with life I guess.
The ability to smile after a long hard day at work is also the ability to overcome the imperfections of life. There is no such thing as a perfect life, never was and never will be.. I added with a grin.
