บันทึกของนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกภาษาอังกฤษเกี่ยวกับการทดสอบการฟังเพลงภาษาอังกฤษชื่อ That’s my goal

ผู้เขียนชอบชื่อเพลงนี้จังเลย  สะดุดชื่อเพลงนี้ครั้งแรก แถมชอบความหมายเพลงนี้ด้วย ลองฝึกฟังดูนะครับ พยายามหาช่องทาง ดูหลักไวยากรณ์(Grammar)จากเนื้อเพลง นอกจากนี้ยังได้สำนวนด้วย ลองหาที่เติมในช่องว่าง 5 ช่องนะครับ ฟังเพลงจากที่นี่ครับ

จากตรงนี้ I won't stop believing  พบว่าเป็นเรื่องของ Gerund หรือกริยาที่เติม ing  มีกฎอยู่ว่า เมื่อมีคำกริยาบางประเภท เช่น

1.    admit อ่านว่า แอดมิท’ แปลว่า ให้เข้า หรือรับเข้า

2.    avoid อ่านว่า อะวอยด์ แปลว่า หลีกเลี่ยง

3.    stop อ่านว่า สทอพ แปลว่า หยุด   กริยาที่ตามคำชุดเหล่านี้มามักเป็น กริยาเติม ing เช่น I won't stop believing  หรือ Avoid signing the document.

สนใจอ่านเรื่องเรื่อง Gerund  ตามไปอ่านที่นี้นะครับ เพราะมีกฎและคำกริยาอีกหลายข้อที่น่าสนใจ
