คำที่น่าสนใจที่เกี่ยวกับการเงินยังมีอีกนะคะ (ตามคำเสนอของอาจารย์แหววค่ะ) คำศัพท์ทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ที่มี monetaryเป็นส่วนประกอบคำนาม เช่น
international monetary system หมายถึง ระบบทางการเงินระหว่างประเทศ
monetary accommodation หมายถึง ความสะดวกทางการเงิน หรือนโยบายการเงินที่อำนวยความสะดวกทางการเงินให้แก่นโยบายการคลังโดยธนาคารกลางเพิ่มปริมาณ ในช่วงท่รัฐบาลเพิ่มงบประมาณรายจ่าย การเพิ่มปริมาณเงินจะป้องกันมิให้อัตราดอกเบี้ยในตลาดเงินสูงขึ้น
monetary base หมายถึง ฐานเงิน หนี้สินหรือสินทรัพย์ทั้งหมดของธนาคารกลาง เรียกอีกอย่างว่า เงินกำลังสูง
monetary growth rule หมายถึง กฎเกณฑ์ทางเศรษฐศาสตร์การเงินที่ว่า ธนาคารกลางจะต้องกำหนดอัตราการเพิ่มขึ้นของอุปทานของเงินไว้คงที่ การปฏิบัติตามกฎจะทำให้สามารถหลีกเลี่ยงปัญหาเงินเฟ้อและเงินฝืดได้เองโดยไม่ต้องใช้นโยบายเศรษฐกิจแก้ปัญหา
monetary union หมายถึงสหภาพการเงิน กลุ่มประเทศต่างๆที่เข้าร่วมกันอยู่ภายใต้ธนาคารกลางเดียวกันและออกเงินตราใช้ร่วมกัน เช่น เงินยูโร(euro) ที่ใช้กันในประเทศสมาชิกแห่งสหภาพยุโรป(European Union)
a monetary unit หมายถึง หน่วยเงินตรา(ของแต่ละประทศ เช่น ประเทศไทย หน่วยเงินตราคือ บาท เป็นต้น)
