บันทึกนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกภาษาอังกฤษเกี่ยวกับการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ( reading)

 ผู้เขียนอ่านข่าวนี้ดีใจ เพราะได้ควายกลับมาไถนาแทนควายเหล็กซึ่งเปลืองน้ำมันและเป็นมลพิษต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม  ลองอ่านจากข่าวนี้ดูนะครับ

Thailand has more than 1.5 million buffaloes but only about 6,000 of these, less than one percent, can be used to plough farmers' fields. 


  That is changing quickly as fuel costs climb. The powerful diesel-fueled mechanised ploughs known as "iron buffaloes" in use around the country are becoming too expensive for many farmers.
  Coming to the rescue is the Livestock Development Department which is setting up a special buffalo training course.
  The first course will start next month. The department expects to have 2,000 more buffaloes trained to plough by next year, 5,000 in 2010, and 8,000 in 2011.
  At least 15,000 farmers are expected to bring in their buffaloes for training under the three-year project.
  ‘‘The course will take only 15 days, after which the animals will be able to pull a plough,’’ said Prachum Intarachot, deputy chief of the department.
  The idea was given serious thought after Her Majesty the Queen suggested that buffaloes be trained and brought back to the fields so that they could help farmers prepare land for planting, as they had done in the past. 


  The department’s School of Ploughing has 13 branchescountrywide, Mr Prachum said.
  His department also plans to encourage farmers to use buffaloes to clear their land after the harvest.
  Ten pilot provinces are expected to join the project, involving about 150,000 rai of land.
  ‘‘This project will help farmers save on costs and reduce pollution,’’ Mr Prachum said.
  The provinces, mostly in the Northeast of the country, are Uthai Thani, Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Nakhon Phanom, Udon Thani, and Chiang Rai.

      อ่านแล้วรู้สึกอย่างไรบ้างครับ  ผู้เขียนดีใจแต่ว่า เพิ่งทราบข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับควายไทยว่า บ้านเราเองมีควายที่ใช้งานน้อยมาก แถมต้องเอาควายไปฝึกไถนาใหม่   ใช้เวลา 15 วัน (แหมระบบราชการ ถ้าชาวบ้านทำคาดว่าไม่น่าถึง อิอิๆๆ)

  แต่คิดในแง่ดี ทุกๆๆอย่างจะกลับคืนสู่ธรรมชาติเหมือนเมื่อก่อน  ตอนผู้เขียนเด็กๆๆ เดินตามควายที่ไถนา ตอนเย็นไถนาเรียบร้อย ก็พาควายไปกินหญ้า อาบน้ำให้ควาย บรรยากาศแบบนี้หายไปนานมากๆๆ  ขอไปทำงานก่อน วันนี้มีเด็กมาก่อกวน ฮ่าๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ…ขอบคุณครับที่เข้ามาอ่าน…
