Qualified Adj.

(CCED) อธิบายว่า รูปอื่น คือ “qualify” “qualifies” “qualifying” “qualified”

และว่า “คนที่ผ่านการทดสอบความสามารถที่จำเป็นต้องมีเพื่อทำการเฉพาะอย่างหนึ่ง”

คือผู้ที่ “qualified”

‘But when I’d qualified and started teaching it was a different story.’

‘Demand has far outstripped supply of qualified teachers.’

หรือถ้า “คุณให้ การสนับสนุนหรืออนุมัติ บางสิ่งหรือบางคนว่า ”qualified””

หมายความว่า “การสนับสนุนหรืออนุมัตินั้น มิได้เป็นเด็ดขาด เพราะยังมีข้อสงสัยอยู่บ้าง”

‘The proposal received qualified approval.’

หรือถ้าคุณบอกเล่าว่า “บางสิ่ง เป็น “qualified” success”

คุณจะหมายถึงว่า “มันเป็นความ สำเร็จเพียงแค่บางส่วน”

‘The program was considered a qualified success.’

‘Is it worth the money? The answer is a qualified yes.’


Unqualified Adj.

(DPWE) อธิบาย “Unqualified” Adj.

หมายถึง “ไม่มี qualifications ที่เหมาะสมหรือที่ต้องการ”

(ตัวอย่างเช่น ความสำเร็จที่ได้ทำ ทะเบียนประวัติ หรือปูมหลัง)

‘Until he passes the bar examination, he is unqualified to practice law in this State.’

‘When he does so, he will have my legal business and my unqualified confidence.’

Disqualified Adj.

หมายถึง “ถูกทำให้ขาดสิทธิ หรือความได้เปรียบ” “ทำให้ไม่เหมาะสมหรือขาดคุณสมบัติ”

‘After his conviction, he was disqualified from holding a public position.’

‘She was disqualified for the Olympic because she was a professional athlete.’
