Hypersensitive หมายถึง สิ่งที่มีความ sensitive มากผิดปกติ
Hypo- ใช้เป็นคำเติมหน้า = prefix มาจากภาษากรีก หมายถึง under
Hypocritical หมายถึง เสแสร้งซ่อนความจริง หรือหน้าไหว้หลังหลอก
Hypodermic หมายถึง เข้าใต้ผิวหนัง
Hypocalcemia หมายถึง มีระดับ calcium ในเลือดต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์
Hypothecate & hypothetical สองคำที่ดูเหมือนเกี่ยวข้อง แต่แตกต่าง
Hypothecate หมายถึง เชื่อโดยที่ไม่พื้นฐานที่แน่นอนรองรับ หรือการจำนองโดยมิได้นำส่งหลักประกันที่เป็นของตน

Hypothetical หมายถึง การใช้ข้อสันนิษฐานเป็นส่วนใหญ่ แทนหลักฐานสนับสนุน
