ผู้ประกอบการรุ่นใหม่ (New start-ups)

We know addictive and life-destroying drugs like ice, meths, ectasy, ... are everywhere in our society. Businesses of trafficking drugs are booming despite police arrests, jail terms, territorial trade/gang wars and other violence including domestic violence. Something like the news below adds a lot to our imagination. We ask, in the time when economy is slow and demand for riches and wealth is high, what will our society become? Is this a trend for our people's innovative mind? Is this a sign of a 'return for investment' in education?

One report should not be taken seriously without a rigorous proof. But what proof we have when a court decision for these charges will be some many months away. There would be enough time for other young enterprising minds to start up similar businesses and set examples for copy-cats elsewhere. Remember too, AEC could spell 'bigger markets' for both 'demand and supply'. Are law-enforcement bodies in AEC working together to ensure less violent AEC societies?

We will have to keep our eyes out for more signals of ...

Our children's lives and futures are at stake. We cannot turn away and pretend we don't see or we don't know anything. Report all signs of threats to our community, any kind of threats, anywhere, to local police, all the way to our Prime Minister!

Hi ยายธี: It is sad to see 'new fashion' businesses. What happens to the good old ways - work hard, save and spend wisely?

Thank you เพชรน้ำหนึ่ง for the beautiful 'recycle' bags. I have two minds about this. One is admiration for the idea and the effort of people involved in recycling plastics. Another is somewhat like frustration - by making recycle products, the plastic bags makers (packaging companies) keep on making more bags and making more excuses like 'see bags can be reused'! The facts that 90% of plastic bags end up on roads, in drains, in rivers, in oceans, in fish, in birds, in humans are neatly hidden in one word 'recycle'.

เห็นภาพประกอบดิฉันคิดทันที 2 เรื่อง คือ

1. คนสมัยใหม่ กินอาหารขยะกันเยอะขึ้น (ก่อให้เกิดโรคที่เพิ่มงานให้พวกเราในระยะยาว) กับ

2. คนสมัยใหม่สร้างขยะเพิ่มให้แก่โลกโดยขาดจิตสำนึกใดๆ เวลาดิฉันเห็นคนมักง่ายทิ้งขยะไม่เลือกที่นี่มันเจ็บปวดใจว่าเราไม่สามารถปลูกฝังความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมให้เกิดขึ้นในคนไทยได้เลยหรือ

ดิฉันกำลังหลงใหลอ่านหนังสือชุด brain-based learning เล่มล่าสุดคือ "สมองวัยทีน" สาระสำคัญคือ วันทีนนี้สมองกำลัง "ตัดแต่งกิ่งก้านสาขา" ของสมอง อะไรที่ผ่านเข้ามาและวัยทีนชอบก็จะบันทึกไว้ ทำซ้ำๆๆ จนสมองบันทึกถาวรว่านี่แหละคือสิ่งที่เลือกแล้ว ดีแล้ว

หากวัยทีนไทยแลนด์เลือกสนุกกับสารเสพติด เที่ยวราตรี ท่องถนนด้วยแมงกะไซด์ยามราตรี ช๊อปๆๆๆ กับหลงไหลในสังคมโซเชียลจนขาดวิจารณญานอันเหมาะควรเพราะไม่เคยอ่าน ไม่เคยวิเคราะห์ใคร่ครวญ จนสมองบันทึกจดจำเป็นการถาวรโดยมิมีกิจกรรมทางเลือกดีๆ ให้พวกเขา ฯลฯ อนาคตของประเทศจะเป็นเช่นไร

ดิฉันอยากให้ใครสักคนมาบอกว่า เฮ้ ป้าคิดมากไปน่ะ ไม่เป็นอย่างนั้นหรอก
