การสอนเรื่อง Tense  ที่ทำให้นักเรียนไม่เบื่อและเข้าใจง่าย  คือการนำเรื่องราวมาประกอบ  ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนิทาน   ขำขันหรือประวัติศาสตร์   วันนี้ผู้เขียนขอแนะนำเรื่องขำๆที่เล่ากันในโรงเรียน  แต่เป็นภาคภาษาอังกฤษ  ซึ่งผู้เขียนได้แปลด้วยตนเอง  ลองสังเกตดูว่าในเรื่องนี้มี  Tense  ให้ศึกษากี่แบบ

This  is  a Thai  joke  that  I  would  like  to relate to  you. I  hope  this  would  make  you  love. This  happened  in  a  primary  school. There  is  a  teacher’s  dormitory  behind  the  school. It  is  a  two  storey. Miss Yenrudee  stays  in  it. One  evening, she  went  down  to  take  a  bath  in  the  bathroom. While  she  was  taking  a  bath, she  saw  eyes  through  the  holes  of  the  bathroom.  She  was  frightened  and  dressed  up  hurriedly. She  went  out  and  saw  the  three  boys running  away.

“ Stop ! Come  back ” The  teacher  shouted. They  walked  toward  the  teacher. 

She  asked  the  first  boy. “ Somchai, what  did  you  see ?

Somchai  bowed  and  answered  “ I  saw  your  legs.”

“You  are  suspended  for  three  days” The  teacher  said.

Then  she  turned  to  the  second  boy .” And  you, Somsak , what  did  you see ? “  I  saw  your  thighs. ” Somsak  answered .  “You  are  suspended  for  seven  days.” .said  the  teacher.

While Miss  Yenrudee  was  turning  to the  third  boy ,  he  cried  and  said. “ I  will  not  come  to  school  anymore”

 

ในเรื่องนี้มีเหตุการณ์ที่แสดงให้เห็นว่าเป็นปกติ (V1 )  เหตุการณ์ที่ผ่านไปแล้ว ( V2  )  เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังดำเนินอยู่ในอดีตและเกิดอีกเหตุการณ์หนึ่งขึ้น(was, were + Ving ) + ( V2  ) ประธานของประโยคถูกกระทำ  ( V to  be + V3)คงนึกภาพออกนะคะว่ามีเหตุการณ์อะไรเกิดขึ้นในโรงเรียนแห่งนี้   เล่ากันทีไร   ขำกันทุกที   แต่เอ..... โรงเรียนนี้อยู่แถวไหนเนี่ย  ?  ครูสาวคนนี้โหดไปหรือเปล่า ?
