ที่คณะกำลังมีการประกวด เขียนสรุปให้สั้นแต่จับใจที่สุด ว่าเวลาไปนำเสนองานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพให้คนที่ไม่พื้นฐานทางนี้เราจะตอบคำถามเรื่อง generalization และ sample size ได้อย่างไรบ้าง

กรรมการที่จะตัดสินมีกัน 5 ท่าน มีทั้งนักวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ

งานนี้สนุกแน่ : ) ไว้ผู้เขียนจะนำคำตอบของผู้เขียนมาโพสแน่นอนค่ะ

Hi Everyone,

In light of the difficulties that we all seem to have in explaining "sample
size" AND "generalizability", I am offering a prize to the best descriptions
received by noon next Wednesday. Descriptions will be judged by Ross Bryant,
Ros Harrison, Ed Putnins, Jolanta Aleksejuniene and myself.


The judges will make no effort to remove their bias from the judgement, nor
will they use a measured score. All decisions will be made by "gut" feelings
and defensible only by human(e) values. If challenged (and I expect
my graduate students to challenge a professor!) the judges will explain
their bias as they help the winner consume or imbibe the prize.


I expect everyone to try-out.
