การประชุมเตรียมการณ์ครั้งที่ ๕ จัดเมื่อวันที่ ๒๕ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๔ และครั้งที่ ๖ จัด ๓ วัน คือ ๒๘ - ๓๐ กันยายน ๒๕๖๔ ในภาพรวมมีความก้าวหน้าไปอย่างน่าพอใจ มีร่างโครงสร้างของการประชุมชัดเจนแล้ว
เป็นการเตรียมการณ์ประชุมในสถานการณ์การระบาดของโควิด ๑๙ แม้ว่าในวันที่ ๒๘ กันยายน อัตราการระบาดเบาลง แต่ก็ยังไม่แน่นอน ความพยายามให้เป็น hybrid conference ก็ยังไม่ชัดเจน
เริ่มการประชุมวันแรก การประชุมระส่ำระสาย ตกลงกันยาก ใช้เวลามากกว่าที่คาด ต้องยกยอดบางส่วนไปวันที่สอง แต่พอวันที่สาม ทีม secretariat ปรับกำหนดการต่างๆ ของ PMAC 2022 เป็นที่พอใจและชื่นชมความสามารถของ secretariat กันถ้วนหน้า

เริ่มวันอังคารที่ ๒๕ มกราคม ๒๕๖๕ ด้วย field trip ซึ่งอาจไปสถานที่จริงที่ภูเก็ต หรือ virtual และ PMA Laureate 2021 Lecture

นอกจากนั้น ยังมีกิจกรรมก่อนการประชุม ที่จัดโดย co-host อีกมาก
ตกลงกันว่า PMAC 2023 เรื่อง Climate Change and Health โดยจะบูรณาการเรื่อง Commercial Determinants of Health เข้าไปด้วย
การประชุมจบลงด้วยความชื่นมื่น ด้วยความสามารถของประธานในที่ประชุมคือ นพ. ทักษพล ธรรมรังสี และ ศ. ดร. ชื่นฤทัย กาญจนจิตรา
