วันที่ 7 มิถุนายน 2557 ผมได้รับเกียรติจากคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ร่วมกับFaculty of Defence Studies and Management, Universiti Pertahanan National, Malaysia กำหนดให้จัดโครงการประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติด้านมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ ครั้งที่ 6 ขึ้น ณ Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia และให้ผมเป็น Keynote Speaker ภายใต้หัวข้อ Unity in Diversity: Challenges in New Millennium

Somehow I feel the lacking of "harmony and equitable sharing of prosperity" may be the undoing of great hope for unity in diversity. Nations have policies based on one extreme such as integration (ie. assimilation eg. France's way of life) and another extreme such as 'multiculturalism' (ie. thousands islands nations eg. Australia), and many flavours in between. Stability of policies seems to depending very much on 'sharing of prosperity' (land, education, wealth, resources, opportunity, equality, ...).
Perhaps because human are opportunistic animals, we will never achieve 'altruistic' goals!
