ทีมวิจัยการระงับปวดในเด็กภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือPediatric pain management in urban and rural Thailand ขอต้อนรับ Dr Nafi Diop จากแหล่งทุน IDRC, the health global research initiative, Canada เพื่อ showcase การวิจัยการระงัปวดในเด็ก ของขอนแก่นว่า project ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างไร มีปัจจัยเกื้ออย่างไรบ้าง ปัญอุปสรรคทั้งด้าน negative และ positive ความยากและความท้าทาย การทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างทีมวิจัยที่ขอนแก่น และระหว่างขอนแก่นและแคนาดาทำอย่างไร ความยากและความท้าทายคืออะไร และบทเรียนที่ได้รับจาก research site อะไรบ้าง
ซึ่งหลังรับประทานอาหารเที่ยง ท่านอาจารย์สมบูรณ์ และฉัน ถูกสัมภาษณ์ในฐานะนักวิจัย ใช้เวลาถึง 3 โมงเย็น ฉันรีบกลับบ้านเพราะต้องอยู่เวรตรวจการนอกเวลาต่อตอน 4 โมงเย็น และพรุ่งนี้บ่ายฉันต้องเป็นล่ามแปลเพราะ Dr Nafi จะเข้าสัมภาษณ์ Nurse facilitators ของศรีนครินทร์ที่อยู่ในโครงการวิจัย
ส่วนภาคเช้าน้องปราณี สื่อเจริญ (ปู) project manager คนใหม่จะพา Dr Nafi ไปสัมภาษณ์ NFs และผู้เกี่ยวข้อง โรงพยาบาลขอนแก่น และจะมี site visit โรงพยาบาลที่เกี่ยวข้องในวันถัดไป

Nafissatou Diop is a public health specialist with expertise in research and evaluation. She has over 25 years of international work experience, including stints in Africa and the Caribbean.
Diop leads evaluation activities of the Global Health Research Initiative, a partnership of IDRC and four other Government of Canada agencies that fosters international research on global health challenges, and strengthens the capacity of low- and middle- income countries to conduct health research. She also manages a research program on immunization in Haiti. Before joining IDRC, Diop worked at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Center for Communication Programs, where she conducted projects in Haiti and Africa. She was also a faculty member of the school’s Health, Behavior, and Society department.
Diop holds doctoral and master’s degrees in health sciences from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
