อันคนรักเมฆนั้น เมื่อถึงจุดหนึ่ง ก็ควรจะรู้รายละเอียดสำคัญบางอย่างไว้

อย่างเช่น เมฆซีร์รัส (Cirrus) ซึ่งมีแบบย่อย 5 สปีชีส์ (species)

1) Cirrus fibratus

Characteristics : thin fibers or threads

2) Cirrus uncinus

Characteristics : comma-shaped or hooked fibers or threads.

3) Cirrus spissatus


Characteristics : dense, often grey looking patches, the sun partially masking or covering. [ที่มา]

ลักษณะเฉพาะ : หนาแน่น มักจะเป็นปื้นสีเทา อาจจะบดบังดวงอาทิตย์บางส่วนหรือทั้งหมด

A cloud species unique to the genus cirrus, of such optical thickness

4) Cirrus castellanus

Characteristics : Cirrus castellatus cloud is a type of cirrus cloud. Its name comes from the word castellatus, which means castlelike or tower-like in Latin. Like all cirrus clouds, the clouds occur at high altitudes. The cirrus castellatus is a series of dense clouds which are connected to a thinner base. [Wikipedia]
