Such a lovely party

During a really hot climate  on 6th of April, 2010,  we had a party  at  P' Suteera's house.

Here is the company who joined our party.

Many people  asked, “What was the party for?” There was no reason at all. Maybe just for fun.

We invited our English teachers and their families. Let's me introduce my guests especially my English teachers.

The first  one was  "Janice". She has been being my English teacher for more than 10 years. She currently teaches me on Sundays at an evening English Bible class.

The second  was " Bryan". He is my English teacher at Srinagarind  Hospital on Mondays and Wednesdays  at noon. The special thing is he' s Janice's husband.

The third  was "Karen". She is also English teacher at Srinagarind  Hospital  and I attend her classes whenever I'm available.

The last  was "Carolee". She is Bryan and Janice’s daughter. She is my youngest English teacher.

We also had  guests from Laos, Maneewan and Lumpon, they actually come to visit Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate center.

Early in the morning, we went to P' Suteera's  house to prepare food and tidy up the place.

The main food was Vietnamese,

which Janice said  was " Yummy". (very delicious)

Many of us enjoyed eating seconds.

We also had noodles that we had to cook by  ourselves. Carolee tried doing this.

Supot and P'Suteera prepared music. (that he likes)

The host (P'Suteera) had a surprise for her friend "P' DuangJai" by bringing out a birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday in the international and Esarn versions.  Perfect, her birthday is April 6th.

There were many activies for entertaining and learning English in our party such as;

dancing

playing games

Pigs' game which Karen brought for us. Sorry it's so difficult for me to explain right here. (Maybe later or not

Pathranit  got highest score. (Well done)

Memory's game which Bryan brought  for us. Carolee who was the youngest of us was the winner. (Congratulations Carolee)

 singing

Karen was a conductor and trainer. She had picked up the song from You Tube.  (Excellent Karen)

talking

P'Mee and Bryan

Sukalaya and Karen

  Pathranit, Bryan and Karen

Because of the hot weather, before the end of  the party, we were tired, and Bryan said he was melting.

Time for gifts

In Thai's culture especially in Esarn, when there are special guests, they give them souveniers to say, “Thank you for visiting my home.”

Therefore P' Suteera gave a lovely pillow for Karen,

and two lovely pillows for  Janice and Carolee.

and  then we said, “Good bye”…

Such a lovely party.  Do you agree with me ?
