  • This review included prospective randomized and quasi-randomized controlled trials

  • Patcipants in this trails were people of all cancer patient with cancer pain

Types of Intervention

  • The following comparisons were examined:
  • Music therapy

Type of outcome measures

  • pain assessment using VAS or any form of pain measurement
  • using analgesia

Electronic searches

I searched the Cochrane Central Register of controlled Trials (Central) on the Cochrane library,Medline, Scopus and Thai databases (Chula,Siriraj,Tiac,Journal link),CINAHL

 

I used the following strategy to search Cochrane all year.

#1 cancer pain

#2 music therapy

#3(#1 or#2)

  • Hand searching focuses on reference list and abstract/ proceeding
  • Contract the authors of relevant publised studies to help identify unpublished data
