ARDP explains more techniques to suitable applying in Health systems development (CC1) and Health problem management (CC3).
This CC3 is necessary in studying CC1 and CC2. It’ll explain more techniques to suitable applying in Health systems development (CC1) and Health problem management (CC3). It’s major responsibility by Professor Guy Kegels whom is one third director of this course. The short name is ARDP, coming from the first letter of each 4 components as following;
Analytical perspectives: it’s involved the question of How by the 4 words, understand, explain, decision and predict with linear cause (simple) and generative cause (Complex) analysis. With applying the concepts of these following; Economics, Demography, Epidemiology and Statistics, Socio-anthropology
Research : The fundamental concepts are about Epistemology, Paradigm, Discipline, Approach, Theory and Method. There are 9 research methods recommended as; Organisational study, Micro-level qualitative research, Epidemiological methods, Policy (Political) analysis, Economic evaluation, Organisational economics, Operational research, Action research, Review of existing evidence (Meta-analysis, narrative review, realist synthesis)
decision making: There are 3 dimensions considering for decision making as the nature of the problem (Simple, Complicated, Complex) by considering uncertainty & disagreement; Level of application (Individual, Organizational, Population) and the nature of task (Priority setting of problems & interventions, Implementation of resource allocation & management of resources)
