Zen in the matrix 3

Excerpt from TIME vol. 156 no. 7 August 14,2000)

The obsessive child prodigy still calibrates the details of his life to maintain a ZEN-like calm. "There are things in your life that you don't feel are quite right, so you change them," he told TIME. "And you've got to tweak them every day-because it's very easy to get out of balance and not have everything exactly as you would like to have it. It could be that you're sleeping too much or not sleeping enough. Or you're not eating enough or eating too much. You've just got to keep the right balance."

I think his thought might be influenced by Buddhism more or less because, besides this picture and above article; his mother is Thai (Thailand is the biggest Buddhist country in the world.) and when he went back to Thailand, as I remembered in the early this year 2001, he went to visit a Thai Buddhist temple just before he left too.

SERENITY

After some missteps, Tiger has found "a wonderful balance" in life.

Also, I read from a book: "When three tournament-winning professionals were recently asked,'What is the most important aspect of a golf swing?'
They each replied, 'BALANCE.'"< The Monk Who Tried Too Hard
zen key
  • We think you're bugged. Try and relax. Come on.
  • Oh God, Jesus Christ, that thing is real!
  • You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically
  • Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life
  • Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain. But you feel it.
  •  It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind
  • You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe
  • You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember, all I'm offering is the truth, nothing more.
