เป็นการ “บอก เป็นทางการ” โดยเฉพาะ “การตัดสินใจ” “แผนงาน”
โดยที่ “คุณ ไม่อาจ ‘announce somebody something”
ต้องใช้เป็น “พวกเขา ‘announce’ us their decision.”
ใช้ “announce” กับ “that” เช่น
‘We are pleased to announce that all five candidates were successful.’
‘It was announced that new speed restriction would be introduced.’
คือ การให้ ข่าวสารแก่สาธารณะในบางเรื่อง
โดยเฉพาะผ่านเครื่องขยายเสียง เช่น
