วันนี้เอาขวดไปขายมาค่ะ "Thank You for Recycling!"

เวลาซื้อเครื่องดื่มที่นี่ จะมีค่ามัดจำติดมาด้วยอัตโนมัติค่ะ แล้วถ้าเราแยกขยะเป็นเรื่องเป็นราว เราก็เอาภาชนะเหล่านั้นไปเอาเงินมัดจำคืนได้ ก็ถือเป็นกลวิธีล่อหลอกให้คนเราขยันแยกขยะมากขึ้นหน่ะค่ะ
ศูนย์ที่รับคืนภาชณะเหล่านี้ก็เป็นบรรษัทไม่หวังกำไรที่รัฐบาลกลางร่วมก่อตั้งขึ้นมา ค่ะ แล้วพวก supermarket และ ร้านค้าบ้างที่ก็มีบริการนี้ด้วย
วันนี้เอาไปคืนมา 40 ขวด/กระป๋อง (เก็บรอมาได้เดือนกว่าๆแล้วค่ะ)
ไปมาสองที่ ที่แรก (Return-it Centre) ได้มา $3.40
แล้วพ่อหนุ่มพนักงานบอกว่ามีขวดนมแบบนึงที่ถ้าไปคืนที่ safeway supermarket จะได้เงินดีกว่า มีอยู่ 4 ขวด ได้ขวดละเหรียญ
รวมทั้งสองที่ก็ได้คืนมา $7.40 (245 บาท) ไม่เลวเลยค่ะ เอาไปซื้อกับข้าวต่อได้ ประหยัดไปเยอะ ดีกว่าเอาไปทิ้งถัง
ดีต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมด้วย

- ราคาของเก่าที่แคนาดาดีกว่าบ้านเราแยะเลย
- เวลาซื้อนมไม่มีไขมันจะได้ขวดพลาสติก > ผมจะล้างคร่าวๆ (ผ่านน้ำ) > เก็บไว้ให้คนทำความสะอาด > เขาจะรวมไปขายต่อ

Electronic Recycling Association in Vancouver
ERA is also another good recycling non profit org in Vancouver and they actually donate the recycled electronics and computers to charity for no charge.

yes, normally people would have to pay for throwing away electronic waste.
ERA is a good organization... Salvation Army also accept electronic devices that they'd put in good use.
