ผมได้เขียนถึง “โจรใส่สูท” ที่ฝรั่งนิยมเรียกว่า Thief in a three piece suit มาแล้ว (โจรใส่สูตสามชิ้น เพราะของฝรั่งนั้นสูทสองชิ้น คือ เชิร์ตและสูทนั้นยังไม่หรูพอ ต้องมีเสื้อกั๊กหรือ vest ด้วยจึงจะถือว่าสูง)
ซึ่งคำศัพท์นี้ผมทนไม่ได้ที่มัน “เหยียดเพศชาย” ของผมมากเกินไปหน่อย วันนี้ขอพิทักษ์สิทธิบุรุษสักกะหน่อยนะ
อะไรกัน...โจรชั้นสูงมีแต่ผู้ชายแต่งตัวดีเท่านั้นหรือ ..วันนี้เห็นกันว่ามีโจรผู้หญิงที่แต่งตัว (แถมแต่งหน้าด้วย) มากมายเต็มสภาเอ๊ย ประเทศ ที่เลวร้ายไม่แพ้โจรเสื้อนอก
เช่น เจ้ามือแชร์ปิรามิดในช่วงพศ. ๒๕๓ก นั่นไง แม่อะไรต่อมิอะไรเต็มไปหมด (เท่าที่จำได้แม่ชม้อย แม่นกแก้ว )
ดังนั้นเราน่ามาบัญญัติศัพท์ว่า “โจรส้นสูง” กันบ้าง เพื่อความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ
ผมได้ไปเสิดหาคำประกิดมาแล้ว ไม่พบ เช่น high heel thief หรือ high-heeled thieve ก็ไม่พบ
กลับมาประสาไตกันต่อ ถ้าจะบัญญัติศัพท์ทั่วไปที่ไม่จำกัดเพศ จะบัญญัติว่าไรดี..ท่านผู้อ่านช่วยผมเสนอด้วยสิครับ

ยังมีโจรหลังโจรอีกทีครับ
Perhaps we should mention them by their area of operations. (Like we call "lung cancer" when it is in lungs, liver cancer when it is in livers, ... though cancer --may be a process on whatever medium--)
So we have white collar thieves, highway thieves, railway thieves, electricity thieves, justice thieves, election thieves, tax thieves (they steal tax money using governments' projects; those who avoid paying taxes are 'tax cheats'; we know some people are both 'tax cheats' and tax thieves and great magicians at the same time, don't we?)
What are our police doing? Are they waiting for the laws to be changed before they would (if ever) act? What about justice systems, are they too waiting for new laws to be passed before they exercise their functions. What is the main function of justice? I would say -- regulating behaviour in society -- so we can maintain 'norm' and 'expectation' of the people withing the society.
If people expect corruption and accept corruption as a norm. Well, thieves can celebrate every day!
