From A School Principal's speech at a graduation.. จากการกล่าวของครูใหญ่ในวันจบการศึกษา
He said "Doctor wants his child to become a doctor......... เขาพูดว่า หมอ อยากให้ลูกเป็นหมอ
Engineer wants his child to become engineer......วิศวกรอยากให้ลูกเรียนวิศวะ
Businessman wants his ward to become CEO.....นักธุรกิจอยากให้ลูกได้เป็นผู้บริหารระดับสูง
BUT a teacher also wants his child to become one of them..!!!! แต่ครูก็อยากให้เด็กๆของครูเป็นอย่างที่กล่าวมาแล้วด้วย
Nobody wants to become a teacher BY CHOICE" ....Very sad but that's the truth.....!!!

The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life.
แขกที่มาในงานวันจบการศึกษา สนทนากันเกี่ยวกับเนื้อหาของชีวิตตามที่ครูใหญ่เพิ่งพูดจบลง
One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued,
ผู้บริหารคนหนึ่ง ลุกขึ้นพูดถึงปัญหาด้านการศึกษา เขาแย้งขึ้นว่า
"What's a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?
"แล้วเด็กจะได้เรียนรู้อะไรบ้างล่ะ จากคนที่เลือกดำเนินชีวิตที่จะเป็นครู
To stress his point he said to another guest;
"You're a teacher, Bonnie. Be honest. What do you make?"
และเพื่อนจะเน้นวัตถุประสงค์ของการถาม ที่เขาพยายามจะชี้ให้แขกอื่นๆเข้าใจ เขาหันไปถามครูบอนนี่ “พูดจริงๆนะครู ครู ทำอะไรได้บ้างน่ะ”
Teacher Bonnie, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied,
ครูบอนนี่ ที่ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นคนตรง คนซื่อสัตย์ คนจริงได้ตอบคำถามดังนี้
"You want to know what I make?
(She paused for a second, then began...)
คุณอยากรู้หรือว่าฉันทำอะไรบ้าง....... เขาหยุดนิ่งชั่วขณะ ก่อนจะเริ่มตอบ
"Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could.
ฉันทำให้เด็กทำงานเข้มแข็งขึ้น มากกว่าที่เขาคิดว่าเขาทำได้
I make a C+ feel like the Congressional Medal of Honor winner.

I teach them how to write and then I make them write.
