กลอน นี้ เป็นเรื่อง จริง เสียแต่ว่า
คุณ ต้อง อ่าน มัน
CASE 1: Kelly Sedey had one wish, for her boyfriend of three years,
David Marsden, to propose to her.
กรณี ที่ 1 Kelly Sedey มีความมุ่งหวัง อย่างหนึ่งกับแฟนหนุ่มที่คบกัน มา 3 ปี
Then one day when she was out to lunch, David proposed her !
She accepted, but then had to leave because she had a meeting
in 20 min ..
แล้ววันนึง เธอออกไปทานข้าวกลางวัน David ก็ขอเธอแต่งงาน
เธอตอบตกลง แต่เธอต้องกลับก่อนแล้ววันนึง เธอออกไปทานข้าวกลางวัน David ก็ขอเธอแต่งงาน
When she got to her office,
she noticed on her computer she had some e-mail's.
She checked it, the usual stuff from her friends, but then she
saw one that she had never gotten before.
เมื่อ เธอมาถึงที่่ทำงาน เธอสังเกตเห็นคอมพิวเตอร์ว่า มีคนส่งอีเมลหาเธอ เธอเปิดดู แต่มันเป็นอีเมลธรรมดาจากเพื่อน
แต่มีอีเมลนึงที่เธอ ไม่เคยได้รับมาก่อน
It was this poem. She deleted it without even reading all of it.
ก็คือกลอนบทนี้ เธอลบมันทิ้งไปโดยที่ไม่ได้อ่าน
BIG MISTAKE ! Later that evening, she received a phone call
from the police It was about DAVID ! He had been in an
accident with an 18 wheeler. He didn't survive!
เป็นความผิดมหันต์ ต่อมาในตอนเย็น
เธอได้รับโทรศัพท์จากตำรวจเกี่ยวกับ DAVID เขาประสบอุบัติเหตุชนกับรถ18 ล้อ เสียชีวิต !!
This is the poem:
นี่ คือ กลอนที่ ว่า
Around the corner I have a friend,
ฉัน มี เพื่อนที่อยู่ไม่ ไกล
In this great city that has no end,
ใน เมือง ใหญ่ที่ไม่มี วันหลับไหล
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
และเวลายังคงผ่านไป
And before I know it, a year is gone.
ฉันไม่เคยรู้ว่านานแค่ไหน
And I never see my old friends face,
แต่ฉันไม่เคยเจอเพื่อนเก่าคนนั้น
For life is a swift and terrible race,
เพราะชีวิตที่มีแต่การเปลี่ยนแปลงและแข่งขัน
he knows I like him just as well,
รู้แต่ว่าเขาคงสบายดีเช่นกัน
As in the days when I rang his bell.
จนวันหนึ่งอยากลอง ไปหาดูสักที
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
เพื่อนที่เราเคยมีความรู้สึกดี ๆ
And now we are busy, tired men.
แต่ตอนนี้ เรายุ่งและเหนื่อยล้า
Tired of playing a foolish game,
ต้องฟันผ่ากับเกมส์อันหลากหลาย
Tired of trying to make a name.
เหนื่อยหน่ายกับการสร้างชื่อ
'Tomorrow' I say! 'I will call on Jim
พรุ่งนี้แล้วกันนะ ฉันจะโทรหา
Just to show that I'm thinking of him.'
ปลอบตัวเองว่า เรายังมีเพื่อนให้คิดถึงอยู่
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
แต่พรุ่งนี้ผ่านมา แล้วก็ผ่านไป
And distance between us grows and grows.
ระยะทาง ระหว่างเรา ยิ่งไกล
Around the corner, yet miles away,
เพื่อนที่อยู่ใกล้ เหมือนอยู่ห่างร้อยไมล์
'Here's a telegram sir,' 'Jim died today.'
จนได้ข่าวว่า เพื่อนจากเราไป
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
นี่คือ สิ่งที่เราสมควรได้ หรืออย่างไร
Around the corner, a vanished friend.
ที่ตรงนั้นไม่ไกล แต่ว่าเพื่อนฉันไม่อยู่อีกต่อไป
Remember to always say what you mean.
จงพู อย่างที่ใจคิด
If you love someone, tell them.
ถ้าคุณรักใครสักคน ก็บอกเขาไปซะ
Don't be afraid to express yourself.
อย่ากลัว ที่จะเผยความรู้สึก
Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you.
เปิดใจ บอกคนที่มีความหมายกับคุณ
Because when you decide that it is the right time it might
หากคุณรอจนถึงเวลาที่เหมาะสม วันนั้นอาจจะช้าไป
be too late. Seize the day. Never have regrets.
หาโอกาสวันนี้ แล้วคุณจะไม่มีวันเสียใจทีหลัง
And most importantly, stay close to your friends
and family, for they have helped
make you the person that you are today.
