Prof. Dr. Chira Hongladarom received award at “Gold Star Award” at Indo Thai Friendship Banquet organized by India International Friendship Society (IIFS) at the Grande Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok on 13th November 2009.
The Banquet was attended by a galaxy of eminent personalities, such as, Senior Politicians distinguished bureaucrats, prominent citizens, business tycoons, many renowned persons from India and Thailand.
The purpose of the event is to effect the Society’s resolution, and that is to present the “Gold Star Award” to the highly respected Indo-Thai Friendship nationals, who are proactive and instrumental in strengthening the Indo Thai ties.
India International Friendship Society (IIFS)-is a non-government, non-political voluntary organization working for more than a decade with patriotically spirited objective towards strengthening friendship between like-minded India nationals and nationals of other countries who are keen and caring toward economic development of India and Thailand.
India is emerging as a superpower in economic in the world in the near future. Today the global economy is inter-dependent and complementary on each other countries’ economic development. In this environment- cooperation and motivation from the nationals of a country like Thailand which has such rich linkage with India, will make huge financial benefits with mutual interest.
