วันวานที่ผันผ่านเป็นวันที่ฉันได้ตริตรองทวนย้อนอดีต และมีคำถามสะท้อนให้ใจตอบเกี่ยวกับการทำบุญวันเกิดว่า ทำแล้วดียังไง เชื่อไหมว่ากว่าจะมีคำตอบให้กับตัวเอง ฉันครุ่นคิดถามใจอยู่เป็นวัน จึงได้คำตอบว่า  แท้จริงเมื่อระลึกถึงวันเกิดของตัวเองนั้น มันอดรำลึกถึงผู้มีคุณที่ให้กำเนิดตัวตนของเรา  ทั้งผู้ให้กำเนิด ครูบาอาจารย์และเพื่อนพ้องทั้งหลาย ที่ล้วนมีพระคุณทำให้เรามีวันนี้ วันที่เรามีความสำเร็จประคองชีวิตมาได้โดยไม่แตกสลายไม่ได้ เมื่อไม่มีเขา ก็จะไม่มีเรา วันคล้ายวันเกิดมันมีค่า เพราะเป็นวันที่ทำให้เราได้รำลึกถึงเขาเหล่านี้

 

วันคล้ายวันเกิดจึงเป็นวาระพิเศษ  สิ่งที่ควรทำจึงควรเป็นเรื่องพิเศษ  การทำบุญวันเกิดของฉันในปีนี้จึงเป็นเรื่องที่พิเศษกว่าทุกปีที่ผ่านมา  การทำบุญวันเกิดปีนี้ฉันจึงตั้งใจทำเพื่อส่งกุศลตอบแทนคุณผู้มีพระคุณค่ะ ไม่ได้ทำตามๆกันมาอย่างที่ใครๆเขาว่า “ต้องทำ” ค่ะ    

 

น้องสิงห์ป่าสักเคยกล่าวว่า “ขณะมีให้ ก็มีรับ”  ในขณะที่ฉันไปทำบุญด้วยใจที่รู้สึกอย่างนี้ ฉันสัมผัสตัวเองว่า ฉันมีความสุขมากค่ะ สุขและปิติมากกว่าวันคล้ายวันเกิดในปีไหนๆซะอีก   ด้วยความปิตินี้แหละค่ะ ฉันจึงเอาเรื่องราวที่ได้ทำไปในวันเกิดปีนี้ มาบันทึกเล่าสู่กันฟัง ทั้งๆที่ตลอดชีวิตที่ผ่านมาไม่เคยให้ความสำคัญจนต้องบอกให้ใครๆมาร่วมฉลองวันเกิดด้วยกัน 

 

ภารกิจที่มีเมื่อวานนี้ ทำให้ฉันไม่มีเวลาบันทึกเรื่องราวที่อยากบอกแก่ผู้มีพระคุณยิ่งของฉัน วันนี้มีเวลาจึงมาบันทึกเพื่อบอกความรู้สึกนั้น ทั้งๆที่กายของบางท่านได้จากฉันไปแล้ว  ฉันก็ยังอยากบอกค่ะ ด้วยใจฉันยังรู้สึกเสมอว่า ท่านอยู่ใกล้ๆ อยู่ในใจฉันนี้เอง

 

Knew there’s something special about the joy of this new day

Then I paused to think why’ it’s my birthday

The sun is shining bright the day is calm and clear

That must be the reason this day is full of cheer

So just want to send you warm wishes for this day

Hope it’s filled with joy as you celebrate another day


How can I thank you Dad
For all you've given me
All the sacrifices made
You thought I didn't see
I remember the fishing trips
And places we would go
Playing games that you let me win
You thought I didn't know

I may not say it often enough
Dad, I love you


You've instilled in me values
To guide in all I do
I'm honored to call you Dad
And have the chance to say

You taught me so much, in my younger years.
You shared my laughter, you dried my tears.
So many times I've counted on you.
To help make my hopes and dreams come true.


You are the best in the world

MOM, you're special in so many ways.
You lighten the nights and brighten the days.
There's so much love in your warm embrace.
Through the years you've given so much.
You've always had that special touch.
Mother you know how much I love you.
