เรียนภาษาอังกฤษ ... Focusing

 

จากที่เรียนภาษาอังกฤษครั้งแรก ในขั้นตอน Introduction และ Stating your purpose ไปแล้ว ก็หายไป 3 ครั้ง ด้วยเหตุจำเป็นยิ่ง ... และมาต่อด้วยเรื่อง Building argument ... ซึ่งยากมากเลย เพราะแต่งประโยคไม่ค่อยต่อเนื่อง ก็เลยไปเอาเรื่องจากหนังสือพิมพ์ เรื่อง บุหรี่อีเล็คทรอนิกส์ สัญญาณภัยตัวใหม่ มาแต่งเป็นเชิง arguments ว่า

"Nowadays there have a big movement bringing Electronic cigarettes to be sold in Thailand. This E-cigarette was first produced in China by the Ruyan Company and had been sold worldwide for 2 years. It has been promoted that this E-cigarette has no any leaf of tobacco. It is filled with nicotine and propyleneglycol in cartridge form, being controlled by mini electronics and atom technology.

However each cartridge contains 18 milligram of nicotine, so smokers have still got nicotine, and the truth, nicotine is addictive equal to heroin or cocaine, and its can also stimulate heart and cardiovascular disease too.

Moreover, the manufacture say that it now has added the extracts of some fruits or herbs and else for fresh smelling, to persuade teenagers' satisfaction.

In my opinion, for consumer protection, we should take care our children from this dangerous of E-cigarette because it is the greatest threat for our health."

วันนี้ เรียนเรื่องใหม่ ก็คือ Focusing ... อือม ค่อยง่ายหน่อย แต่ก็ต้องใช้หมองพอสมควร เพราะว่า บางประโยคไม่ได้ใช้เหมือนกัน

เรื่อง Focusing อ.Christ อธิบายว่า ...

ในกรณีที่ต้องการพูดให้ผู้ฟังตั้งใจฟัง เราไม่ควรพูดไปเรื่อยๆ แต่เราสามารถ Focus key points ที่จะทำให้ผู้ฟังรู้ในสิ่งที่เราต้องการให้เขาฟัง ว่าเราจะพูดอะไรต่อไป

เช่น

I'd like to approach this question from two different angles. สามารถ Focus เป็น

What I'd like to do is approach this question from two different angles.

"What ... is ..." เป็น pattern ที่ทำให้ผู้ฟังสนใจมากขึ้น

ครั้งหน้าก็ไม่ได้เรียนอีก เพราะว่า ต้องไปเยี่ยมเสริมพลัง KM ที่ ศูนย์อนามัยที่ 8 นครสวรรค์ ค่ะ ... คงจะได้เป็นนักเรียนโดดร่มดีเด่นแน่เลย
