หมายถึง “การเสนอ (หัวข้อเรื่อง ที่อาจน่าอายหรือคนไม่ยอมรับ)
เพื่อหารือ/โต้แย้ง” เช่น
‘It’s often difficult to broach the subject of sex.’
‘Eventually I broached the subject of her early life.’
‘She was dreading having to broach the subject of money to her father.’
“การประกาศ” เช่น “We broached our plans for the new year.”
