การใช้ “UNAWARE” เป็น Adj. ให้ตามด้วย วลีบุพบท พร้อม “of” (ทั้งแสดงและโดยนัย)

ให้เป็นรูป คุณศัพท์ ขยาย นาม หรือสรรพนาม หรือตามกริยาที่ใช้เชื่อม

ให้หมายถึง “มิได้ aware ในเรื่องนั้น” หรือ “unconscious of” เช่น

‘Unaware as I was, I made a serious mistake.’

‘He was unaware of the danger that lay ahead.’

‘She plunged into a dangerous situation wholly unaware.’

หมายถึง “อย่างมิได้คาดคิดไว้ก่อน” (unexpectedly) หรือ “ทำให้ประหลาดใจ” (by surprised)

‘A sudden heavy snowstorm caught the campers unawares.’

‘Discovered that he had unawares given offense.’
