[Now let us see, 600,000 Million baht spent on buying rice at 15,000 baht/ton;
Simple grade 3 arithmatics says we should have 40 million tons of rice;
But there is only 18 million tons of rice in warehouses and silos;
Some 2 million tons of rice is being packaged for domestic sale at discount;
Therefore by grade 2 arithmatics, 20 million tons of rice is missing;
But we know better: Not all money has been spent buying rice!]

...ทั้งนี้ขอยืนยันว่าการรับจำนำทำให้ชาวนามีรายได้สูงขึ้นจริง และยังทำให้ราคาข้าวในตลาดปรับเพิ่มขึ้น โดยข้อมูลจาก ธ.ก.ส. ระบุว่า การรับจำนำ ทำให้เกษตรกรมีรายได้สูงขึ้น 4,000 บาทต่อตัน มีรายได้รวมเพิ่มขึ้นทั้งระบบ 86,000 ล้านบาท หรือ 39,160 บาทต่อครัวเรือน โดยการรับจำนำตั้งแต่ปี 54 จนถึงปัจจุบันใช้เงินรับจำนำรวม 606,000 ล้านบาท แยกเป็นนาปี 54/55 จำนวน 118,000 ล้านบาท นาปรัง 55 อีก 210,000 ล้านบาท ปี 55/56 จำนวน 228,000 ล้านบาท และนาปรัง 56 ที่อยู่ระหว่างดำเนินการ 50,000 ล้านบาท...

[Minister of Trade says rice-growers get 4,000 baht more per ton of rice;
And for all rice-growers they get 86,000 million baht more; or 39,160 baht per family.
Let us try grade 4 arithmatics, total incease of revenue for all rice-growers is 86,000 million baht, therefore 86,000 million baht/4,000 baht ==> 21.5 million tons of rice is produced by all rice-growers. (Remember in problem above, 40 million tons of rice supposed to be bought with 600,000 million baht).

Next we hear that each family (on average) get an increase in revenue of 39,160 baht. Therefore there are 86,000 million baht/39,160 baht/family ==>  2,196,118.5 families of rice-growers benefit from this scheme.

We can now move to grade 6 arithmatics and ask questions like:
How many persons in a family? How much more money each person get? (Remember, revenue is income before expenses and taxes are deducted.)
If 600,000 million baht is disributed equally to everyone in the Kingdom, how much would each person get? Is this amount of increase in revenue (again before commissions -หัวคิว and taxes) enough to cover the rise in cost of living? ...]
