ครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิตกับการนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการต่างประเทศ
กิจกรรมที่ไป คือ การเข้าร่วมประชุมและนำเสนอผลงานในงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ Safety 2010 World Conference “10th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion ” จัดระหว่างวันที่ 21 – 24 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2553 ณ the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre เมืองลอนดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ
บทนำ
รายงานการเข้าร่วมประชุมวิชาการและนำเสนอผลงาน “The 10th Safety 2010 World Conference ณ กรุงลอนดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ ระหว่างวันที่ 19 – 26 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2553 การประชุมครั้งนี้ มีเนื้อหา ครอบคลุมถึงวิธีการป้องกันและการควบคุมการบาดเจ็บจากทุกสาเหตุ รวมทั้งการเฝ้าระวังการวิจัยและการประเมินผล
โปรแกรมการประชุมครั้งนี้ มีการนำเสนอผลงานอย่างเต็มที่โดยวิทยากรรับเชิญจากนานาชาติที่เข้าร่วมประชุมพร้อมมีการนำเสนอผลงานที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจากบทคัดย่อที่ส่งนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการ โปสเตอร์วิชาการ และ นิทรรศการภาพยนตร์และการถ่ายภาพ กว่า 1600 เรื่อง รวมทั้งการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการก่อนการประชุม

การประชุมครั้งนี้ ผู้เขียนมีโอกาสได้รับคัดเลือกให้นำเสนอผลงานวิชาการในรูปแบบของโปสเตอร์ เรื่อง การพัฒนาระบบการแพทย์ฉุกเฉินโรงพยาบาลศรีนครินทร์ : กรณีเหตุซ้อนเพื่อช่วยชีวิตผู้บาดเจ็บทางถนน" เป็น 1 ใน 600 เรื่องที่นำเสนอ ทั้ง 3 วัน โดยแบ่งนำเสนอวันละ 200 เรื่องค่ะ

บทสรุป
ช่วงท้ายของการประชุม ผู้แทน WHO ได้มอบหมายงานให้ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมมุ่งมั่นแก้ไขปัญหาโดยมีส่วนร่วมกับทุกภาคส่วนต้องบูรณาการร่วมกันรณรงค์ควบคุมป้องกันและลดการบาดเจ็บและความรุนแรง นับจากนี้ไปจนถึงปี 2020 สถานการณ์การบาดเจ็บและความรุนแรงน่าจะได้รับการพัฒนาให้มีความก้าวหน้าเพิ่มมากยิ่งขึ้น อาจต้องใช้นโยบายสาธารณะเป็นหลัก มีภาวะผู้นำการพัฒนา กำหนดเป็นยุทธศาสตร์ อาศัยการมีส่วนร่วมของภาคีเครือข่ายทั้งภาครัฐ เอกชน NGO และภาคประชาชน เพื่อลงสู่เป้าหมายในชุมชน สังคม ครอบครัว และประชาชนในแต่ละพื้นที่ของแต่ละประเทศ เน้นการจัดการความรู้จัดให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ถอดบทเรียนพัฒนาต่อยอดขยายผลการพัฒนาสู่ความยั่งยืนโดยใช้หลักการแก้ไขปัญหาโดยครอบครัว สังคม ชุมชนของเราเอง (YOUTH FOR ROAD SAFETY) และให้มีการสรุปประเมินผล โดยเฝ้าระวังและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลดูเป็นระยะ
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการประกาดและมอบรางวัลการแข่งขันประกวดสื่อความปลอดภัย นานาชาติ 3 รางวัล โดยมี จุดประสงค์ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองการยอมรับความเป็นเลิศของสื่อข้อความ เสียง และ คริ๊ปวิดีทัศน์ โดยเนื้อหาของสื่อเน้นการรณรงค์ในเชิงบวกด้านความปลอดภัยและการป้องกันการบาดเจ็บ มีการแบ่งปัน การประเมินประสิทธิผลของข้อความ ซึ่งทำให้มีโอกาสได้รับการแบ่งปันสิ่งที่ดี ๆ ที่กำลังดำเนินการทั่วโลกให้สำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมทุกคนได้เรียนรู้จากเพื่อนร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ด้วย
การประชุมดังกล่าว มีนัดประชุมในครั้งต่อไป คือ Safety 2012 World Conference “11th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion ” จัดระหว่างวันที่ 1 – 5 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2555 ณ เมือง Wellington ประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ เปิดรับสมัครบทคัดย่อระหว่างวันที่ 13 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2554 ถึงวันที่ 28 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2555 เปิดลงทะเบียนวันที่ 1 กุมภาพันธ์ ถึง 1 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2555 สามารถติดตามความคืบหน้าที่ www.safety2012.org.nz , contract : [email protected]
