Here is the messages that I've passed through friends on new year eve. its about New Year Resolution.
Purpose; we'd like to make our lives better each year by evaluating or self-assessment, make new decisions and keep accounting on one another.
Question! what has changed in your life last year? how does it made you different?
see the scriptures;
John 3:16
Roman 8:28
James 4:1-4
Mark 6:21
Matthew 6:33
Matthew 7:7
Story sharing; there's one man who live on top of the mountain who's very old. he has to stay home while the whole villagers went to the beach for a harvest feast.
Meanwhile, he realised that Tsunami is coming (he saw the birds flying up high, the red sky and the animals ran up the height places).
He wish he could run to tell everyone or shout out loud to let them know but he couldn't. so he decided to burn his new full harvest barn. so people thought fire is burning his barn and house. So they ran and helped him on top of the hill.
When Tsunami came, all safe.
Think about God, he sent his one and only son to save us. So we should be graceful. (John 3:16)
He wanted us to bear much fruits. (Roman 8:28)
Ask with the right motivation, not for your own pleasures. (James 4:1-4)
-If you are thinking of having more is not sin but put all these above God is.
-On your targets, Is it better to have God in the centre?
Store up your treasure in Heaven. (Mark 6:21)
Dream BIG, dare to ask. (Matthew 7:7)
-God id our almighty God, so dream Big. You know he can done greater than you can even imagine.
Ask, believe and to be received. (James 1:5-8)
What to do?
1. Post your resolutions/goals that you wish to achieve this year. (self improvement+general achievement etc.)
2. Spur up on one another or asking about one's resolutions/goals through the whole year.
3. share the development/progress of your resolutions/goals with your circle friends in every opportunity.
-The Resolutions/Goals, they need to be clear (very specific) and put the plan (how to achieve) on them. Ex; Target; Grow more on understanding about God. Plan; Read biblical book 12 books in this year. (good)
-Put your resolutions/goals on where you can see them daily. (also read it)
-Very important process, just "do it!"
Theory;
You + Action = Result
You + New Action = New result
New You + Action = New result
Later, in the end of the year, evaluate them. Celebrate for the new achievement or adjust new plan for unaccomplished resolutions/goals.
All the Best to you,
