บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาผลการใช้กิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษในการสร้างแรงจูงใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนักเรียนช่วงชั้นที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านเนินประดู่ อำเภอคีรีมาศ จังหวัดสุโขทัย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนช่วงชั้นที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านเนินประดู่ ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2551 และสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 30 คน ระยะเวลาที่ใช้ในการทดลอง 3 วัน ระหว่างวันที่ 26 – 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2552
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าและเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ คู่มือการจัดกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ แบบสอบถามเพื่อวัดแรงจูงใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นต่อกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการร่วมกิจกรรม
สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน จากแบบสอบถามแรงจูงใจ แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นต่อกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการร่วมกิจกรรม โดยเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของแรงจูงใจก่อนและหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมโดยใช้ t-test แบบ dependent samples.
ผลการศึกษาค้นคว้า พบว่า กิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษสามารถสร้างแรงจูงใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนช่วงชั้นที่ 2 ให้สูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

Abstract
The research and development aimed to study the results of English camp activities which assessed for English studying motivation in the second level students at Nernpradoo school. The students were in the second semester on the academic year 2008 and applied to attend the English camp activities project. The camp consisted of 30 students, for 3 days during 26 – 28 February 2009.
The Instruments for studying and collecting data were ; a manual of English camp activities, questionnaires for English studying motivation measurement, questionnaires for the opinions on English camp activities and participant behavior observation forms.
Statistics for data analysis were mean and standard deviation of the data from questionnaires for English studying motivation measurement, questionnaires for the opinions on English camp activities and participated behavior observation forms. Means of the motivation before and after attending the activities were compared by t-test, dependent samples type.
The results found that English camp activities could increase the motivation in English studying of the second level students highly significant (P < .01).
