1st assignment submit and grade
  • After submitting assignment I on 22 May,2009. Tutor seen the paper work then given resubmit on 27 May, it's because we forgot to focus on to make short reflection how this activity help school head to improve his/her management.
  • The item of this assignment I show on this link
  • After that the tutor give one more time deadline on 30 May, resubmited again it's mean someone's assignment not good to be grade.

    Your effort in reviewing your work and further improving on it is highly appreciated. Thank you for the impressive photos of your meeting with your school teachers . I  am particularly pleased that you have incorporated the transformational school pilot project in this assignment. This implies positively that you have   mastered the concepts and topics discussed on  transformational instructional leadership. As a benchmark school in technology, it is only right and appropriate that one of the main concerns is to improve the delivery system by getting all your teachers to use technology in the classroom as well as communication management in your school. It is great to see that you are also introducing the mentoring and coaching system in your school to upgrade the instructional supervision in your school. When using a  mentoring system in  your school esp for the orientation of new teachers, it is often best to select young but experienced teachers  as mentors because they will generally relate well to new members of the teaching profession having enough experience to give sound advice, including a good memory for the challenges and problems of a beginning teacher. This had worked well for my school when I was the principal so I hope it would also work for your school.

    I like to read your school journals too and this indeed is an excellent way of keeping the communication in your school alive. This publication will also help you to parade your school's achievements and share your success stories as well as best practices.

    I can foresee lots of excitement going on in your school when  you and your teachers are involved in bringing in solutions to address the current school problems and do remember that your hard work and effort need to be appreciated. One of the ways to do it is to schedule regular monthly luncheons , in addition to frequent meetings , at which lengthier discussions can take place in a more relaxed atmosphere . The establishment of a regular feedback and monitoring system is essential and this must be encouraged and supported by your school's mechanism.

    Your reflection has been systematically presented following the identified problems and what important lessons you had learnt during the discussion with your teachers. It is great to note that this activity had opened your eyes to issues which were thought unimportant to you before but in fact had mattered to your teachers. It is also most encouraging to read in your paper that the activity had made you realized that by allowing your teachers to share in making decision , your teachers had felt happy and that all of them wanted to participate in the workshop on 22.5.09. This activity had certainly developed a productive relationship between you and your teachers. I would have loved to read your reflection on the critical responsibilities and challenges faced by you as a transformational instructional leader in your school which is renowned for its technology and how you cope. Maybe you could write about that in MyForum when you are free from all the assignment as I am sure that it would make an interesting piece of reflection.
