Did you know that there is a book that could almost answer all life’s questions? According to many Christians, they say to ask God and find His answer in the book. Do you want to know what that book is? It is the one and only Bible! For some of you who don’t know about God, reading the Bible is the best way to know Him and to be born again.
First, reading the Bible is an important way to understand about people. I have always been afraid to face the truth until I read about David and Goliath. To know that David defeated Goliath by the help of God, I knew that if we had God with us, we can all defeat our greatest fears. When I read about Jesus and his suffering, I understood the whole story and that made me have more faith.
Second, it can also entertain us, making it not so boring. The funny part is when Elisha watched his teacher go up to heaven through a whirlwind and the children teased him by saying, “Go up, baldhead!” It makes us want to read the Bible more.
Finally, it makes us a better person when we read Psalms or Proverbs. It makes us feel like the Bible is our parents who are teaching us be honest, fair, humble, faithful, and to have wisdom.
So, let’s start reading the Bible today from the front through the back, we will see the changes in your life and both you and God will be happy.
