I thought American politics should not matter to the rest of the world, but somehow it does, doesn't it?
What is Super Tuesday ?
"Super Tuesday commonly refers to the Tuesday in early February or March of a presidential election year when the greatest number of states hold primary elections to select delegates to national conventions at which each party's presidential candidates are officially nominated. ..."
I talked to my Mother last night telling her whoever - between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, gets the the most delegates today, that person will represent the Democrat presidential candidate, and very likely, in November of this year, will be elected the next President of the United States (POTUS).
My mother rooted for Hillary Clinton - the experienced one - and mentioned our newly elected Prime Minister - she might have rooted for him too! :-) Whereas Barack Obama - a political rockstar shares the same star wonder to our Opposition Party leader, she said, is too young and too in-experienced.
I don't share all of my mother's view. But this is what Hillary said yesterday;
"It does matter who our leaders are and what they do. I'm now running for president because I think we can do better than we have."
Anyway, the voting has now begun ...may the best (wo)man win !
Thank you for your interest khun ขจิต.
Today is the 2nd Tuesday that some American citizens confused it with last Tuesday as far as primary election goes.
Here's a Primary Season Election Results
Hillary won more delegates but few states than Obama. But he is catching up very fast!
