วันที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2568 ผมได้รับเชิญให้มาจัดค่ายภาษาอังกฤษโรงเรียนสวัสดิ์รัตนาภิมุข ตรัง จัดที่มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ รังสิต 2568 ผ่านอาจารย์ Pornsak Noowongซึ่งเรามีกิจกรรมจัดกิจกรรมให้นักเรียนแบบนี้ทุกปี แต่ปีนี้มีสองครั้ง นักเรียนชุดใหม่น่ารักมาก มีนักเรียนชุดเก่าติดมาด้วย มีคนอยากต่อยมวย 555
ผมมารอนักเรียนที่คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ที่มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ รังสิต แต่ทีมนักเรียนไปที่มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ใกล้ถึงเวลา9.30 น. นักเรียนและทีมงานถึงมา (อาจารย์บอกว่าลืมแจ้งคนขับรถ 555 เขาเลยมาที่ม.เกษตรศาสตร์ บางเขนที่ผมทำงาน 555)
กิจกรรมแรกเป็นการละลายพฤติกรรมนักเรียนและการฟังภาษาอังกฤษ ให้นักเรียนทำกิจกรรมตามคำสั่งเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ความเป้นจริงจะต้องมีฝรั่งมาด้วยหนึ่งคน ผมโดนฝรั่งเท เนื่องจากว่า ฝรั่งไปทำเอกสาร ที่ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง เลยว่าจัดกิจกรรมคนเดียว
ผมใช้กิจกรรมภาษาอังกฤษค่อนข้างยากสำหรับนักเรียนเนื่องจากอยากให้นักเรียนไปใช้ความพยายาม แต่ว่าให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกมากๆ

Spice in the snow: Thai restaurateur helps heat up winter in Montana by Nareerat Wiriyapong
An eight-month winter makes Big Sky one of the biggest ski resort towns in North America, attracting millions of tourists each year. And just an hour's drive away in Bozeman, a Thai woman has found the chilly weather of this mountainous corner of Montana the perfect atmosphere for introducing her prized spicy Thai dishes to American diners.
''Spicy food is made for this kind of weather, as the hotness warms you up when you eat it,'' said Puyada 'Pam' Mongkolpla, 29, an architecture graduate from Montana StateUniversity in Bozeman and the owner of Lemongrass Thai restaurant.
Opened 15 months ago, Lemongrass is the only restaurant in Bozeman serving authentic Thai food cooked by Thai chefs.
There are some Chinese and other Asian restaurants in the town, but their Thai dishes taste different, said Ms Puyada, who first came to Bozeman as a high-school student.
''Our spicy dishes such as curry are really spicy. Customers are warned about this when ordering, but many of them like it,'' she said.
Though Bozeman has a population of only 37,000 - including five Thai students - Ms Puyada decided to start her business there instead of a larger city, partly because there would be less competition.
''More importantly, I wanted farangs to know what authentic Thai food really tastes like,'' she says.
In the beginning, she had zero business experience but loved to cook, so she put her grandmother's traditionalrecipes on the menu. Other popular spicy items are chicken and beef Penang curry, tom kha kai and phat kheemao moo.
Lemongrass imports all of its main ingredients from Thailand through a wholesaler in Los Angeles, so everything on the menu is cooked with fresh Thai herbs.
The restaurant also serves Hom Mali rice even though it is more expensive than regular white rice.
The prices of the dishes on the Lemongrass menu reflect the cost of sourcing top-quality ingredients, with curries at $14 (420 baht) and most other dishes ranging from $9-14, but they are not considered high for a middle-class American budget.
Before the restaurant was opened, many local people thought phat thai was the only Thai food, said Ms Puyada.
She said she chose the name Lemongrass because it was easy for local people to remember and say.
The restaurant cost US$200,000 to open, and Ms Puyada and an American friend each put up half the money.
Lemongrass has already broken even after only 15 months, while it takes most restaurants 18-24 months on average. The 40-seat eatery is busy on Fridays and Saturdays, especially if it looks like rain.
''When it's sunny, people here love to stay and eat outdoors,'' said Ms Puyada.

Do:
Look at your picture carefully and take a few moments to think before you start talking.
