An introduction of Buddhism 6

An introduction of Buddhism 6

By...Uthai  Eksaphang

(Continuing from the previous episode)

In later times there was an issue to study. In the book called Trai Phum Phra Ruang. Trai Phum Phra Ruang is considered the first Thai thesis of Siam. Composed by the King of Sukhothai, in the Phra Ruang dynasty

Author: Phraya Lithai .The information in this book is compiled from Buddhist scriptures.

In the World Science Book or the book of the universe . the author of the name of the Phra  Sirimungla  Jarna of Lanna, composed in the year 2063 B.C. on the existence of hell and heaven as well.

In the book, Pooma Wilasini, composed by Phra Thep Munee (Wilas Yanwaro), confirms that hell and heaven exist and hell exists. Angels really exist. Hell creatures really exist. The next world exists. Anyone who says that these things don't exist They were as blind as they were born.

Like people have never seen the moon. People have never seen the sun. People never see red. People have never seen green. Then those people say that the moon doesn't, have The sun has no. The red  has  no. The  green  has no. no matter what they are? All good-looking people see each other every day.

The conversation about hell between the hermit named Sangkija and the king named Phromadhata of Kasi is as follows:

Whoever is a Dhamma practitioner Whoever is living with merit When he died from this world Where does he go? I will speak of those hell's motto. Listen to what I say.

Hell has 8 treasures. All the graduates have already said. Those who do evil cannot get through these hell. When he died, the commentator explained about those hell, that these 8 hellenas, each of them has 4 gates, each gates will have 4 hell. 16 panes of hell, total of 128 panes of hell and 8 other levels of hell, so called hell 136.

Because of this, in some places the Buddha taught the age of the beasts in hell As the question of the Lord Brahma to  say  that :… O Lord, who prospered. My Highness A monk named Gogalika, the monk has done or is dead. He was born in the lotus flower of hell, because he was still stressful or revenge in Sariputra and Mokkullana.

... Look at the monks. The age of hell in the lotus flower is very long. It is difficult to determine how many years or about hundreds of years.

.... Look at the monks. In this case, like a wagon carrying a sesame seed of the Kosol, with a rate of 246 tanan or (20 karee) over a hundred thousand years. With a man bringing 1 sesame seed out of the circle

... Look at the monks. The wagons of the Kosol people had sesame seeds at a rate of (20 karee). All of them were carried out. It is still faster than not yet 1 apphudha in hell.

... Look at the monks. Gogalika monks. He was born in a lotus flower of  hell. Because of the vengeful or stressful mind in Sariputra and Mokkhullana

The Lord Buddha taught about heaven, as in the general meeting of angels from 10 worlds that:

About the age of the people of heaven.

From Jatum Maharajika to Paranimmittha Sawasdee as follows :

... 800 years of human beings are one night and one day of the angels in Nimmanaradee. By that night, 30 nights are 1 year. By that year, 800 years is approximately the age of the angels in the Nimmanaradee level. (The Ubosot Sutra Tripitaka   Angkhuttara  nikaya , Book 20, Article 510)

... 100 years of human beings are one night and one day of the gods of heavenly stars. 30 nights, the nights are 1 month, 12 months, with that month being 1 year, 1,000 years. It determines the age of those stars. (Tripitaka , Book 35 Article 1106-1107)

Regarding the hell and heaven quoted here, the researchers agreed that. If there is a clear education of kamma, hell and heaven, it will be the key to unlocking the door to the path of a rightful life. May I suggest a clarification on “the author … Phra Sirimungla Jarna of Lanna, composed in the year 2063 ‘B.C.’ “ because B.C. commonly stands for ‘Before Christ’[aka Anno Domini - A.D.); where the Buddhist Era is abbreviated ‘B.E’.

As an aside, do you know why this book is written (2063 B.E. or 1520 A.D.) in the old Khmer script instead of the (then ‘newly invented’) Thai script (of the earlier King Ramakamhaeng of Sukhothai; 1835 B.E. or 1292 A.D.)?

We would expect ‘uptake’ of the ‘Sukhothai script’ to a lot better than that - especially in the Monasteries.
