บ่อยครั้งใช้ ‘amoral’ ผิดที่ แทนกรณีที่ ต้องการความหมายของ ‘immoral’
ใช้ ‘immoral’ ได้ถูกต้อง เพื่อ กล่าวถึง การละเมิด กฎแห่งศึลธรรม (moral rules)
ใช้ ‘amoral’ เกี่ยวกับ ‘บุคคล ผู้ไม่มีศึลธรรม’
หรือ สถานที่/สถานการณ์ ทีไม่มี การบังคับใช้ หลักศึลธรรม

ส่วน “immoral” หมายถึง
