กระต่ายกับเต่า

กระต่ายตัวหนึ่งมั่นใจในความเร็วของตัวมัน มันท้าทายสัตว์ทุกตัวให้แข่งวิ่งกับมัน ไม่มีสัตว์ตัวใดรับคำท้า เต่าตัวหนึ่งนึกสนุกจึงรับคำท้าเจ้ากระต่าย เมื่อการแข่งเริ่มต้น กระต่ายน้อยวิ่งนำเต่าไปสุดลูกหูลูกตา มันไม่เห็นเจ้าเต่าจึงงีบหลับลงใต้ต้นไม้ เต่าน้อยคลานมาถึงกระต่าย กระต่ายก็ไม่รู้ตัว เมื่อกระต่ายตื่นขึ้นมา เจ้าเต่าก็เข้าเส้นชัยเสียแล้ว

นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า ความประมาทนำมาสู่ความปราชัย

The Rabbit And The Turtle

The rabbit confidence in the speed of himself. He challenges all the animals to running race with him, no animal take up the glove with him. The turtle think it fun, he take up the glove with a rabbit. When the race started, the rabbit runs forego the turtle invisibly. The rabbits do not see the turtles, so he nap under the tree. The turtles crawl until to rabbit. The rabbit unconsciously, he woke up and saw the turtle was run to the finish line already.

Moral of the story: The negligence led to the setback.
