ถึงแม้ การใช้ในลักษณะนี้ “ทำให้เกิดการโต้แย้ง” หรือ “ข้อสงสัย”
เรา ไม่อาจ “allege” ต่อ “a swindler” ได้
เพราะ การ “allege” ต้องใช้ กับ “สถานภาพ” หรือ “อาชญากรรม”
ผู้ที่ถูก “accused” ก็มิใช่ “burglar”
หากแต่ ต้องใช้กับ “บุคคล” ที่จะถูก “accused” ว่าเป็น “a burglar”
คำเหล่านี้ นำมาใช้ เพื่อปกป้อง “บุคคล” ป้องกัน จากการ ”ให้ร้าย”
เหมือนกับ ที่หนังสือพิมพ์/ทีวี/วิทยุ ใช้เพื่อ มิให้ถูกฟ้อง ว่า “ให้ร้าย”
