a site that aims to engage learners of English from around the world in conversation using VOIP telephony (we generally use Skype)

The idea behind the World Conversation Club is for people to meet twice weekly and give the opportunity for leraners of English to speak to each other about whatever's on their minds and to practise the language in an intercultural setting. sometimes we set topics with discussion questions, but other times, the conversation just develops.

We have also been recording and make the recorded webcasts available to everyone to listen to later.
