Anonymous FTP Server using Proftpd [ Problem and Solved ]

วันนี้ติดตั้ง FTP Server ขึ้นมา โดยใช้ Proftpd นะ ติดตั้งบน FreeBSD 6.1 ซึ่งเมื่อก่อน ก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร แต่มาวันนี้ ติดปัญหานิดหน่อย ทำให้ได้ดูหนังช้าไปเลย สำหรับปัญหาก็มีดังล็อกไฟล์นะ 

$ ftp myserver
Connected to myserver
220 ProFTPD 1.3.0 Server (MySERVER) [IP Address]
500 AUTH not understood
KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication type
Name (myserver:account): anonymous
331 Anonymous login ok, send your complete email address as your password.
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.

วิธีแก้ ให้เพิ่ม 

RequireValidShell      off

 ลงไปในไฟล์ proftpd.conf ในส่วนของ Global นะ หรือ ส่วนที่อยู่นอก <Anonymous > นั่นเอง เท่านี้ก็ใช้งานได้แล้ว :P
