How can you support your learners? multiple intelligences in TELL?

When designing assignments for learners in TELL or in the presentation of new

learning material we have to consciously involve all intelligences to suit the

needs of our learners connecting them with words, numbers, pictures, music,

self-reflection, physical experience, social experience and experience in the

natural world:

Linguistic (verbal) intelligence: using words effectively in both speaking and

writing. This intelligence includes such skills as the abilities to remember verbal

information, to convince others by means of verbal arguments, and to talk

about language itself.

Logical-mathematical intelligence: using numbers effectively and reasoning

well. This includes such skills as understanding the basic properties of numbers

and principles of cause and effect, as well as the ability to predict, which

seems to be crucial for a foreign language learner.

Bodily-kinaesthetic intelligence: using the body to express ideas and feelings

and to solve problems. This includes such physical skills as coordination, flexibility,

speed, and balance.

Musical (rhythmic) intelligence: sensing rhythm, pitch, and melody. This

includes such skills as the ability to recognize and produce sounds, ability

to vary speed, tempo, and rhythm in the language.

Interpersonal intelligence: understanding another person‘s moods, feelings,

motivations, and intentions. This includes such skills as responding effectively

to other people in some pragmatic way, such as getting learners to participate

in a project.

Intrapersonal intelligence: understanding oneself - your strengths, weaknesses,

moods, desires, and intentions. This includes such skills as understanding

how someone is similar to or different from others, reminding oneself to

do something, knowing about oneself as a language learner, knowing how we

organise our learning and knowing how to handle feelings.

Spatial intelligence: sensing form, space, color, line, and shape. It includes

the ability to graphically represent visual or spatial ideas.

I think words ,numbers ,ideas ,feelings, musical ,rhythm ,space ,color ,line and shape. It is necessary for designing learners in TELL. After that In TELL learners can develop this intelligence through using words ,numbers ,ideas ,feelings, musical ,rhythm ,space ,colour ,line and shape for listening.

finally Learners can develop this intelligence through extensive and frequent listening speaking reading and writing activities.
