There are 4 seasons in UK..
March - May = Spring
June - August =Summer
Septmber - November = Autumn
December - February = Winter
For each seasons, there is important festival and weather is different. So be prepared to select a suitable clothes...
Here is some example for each season...
March - May has Easter festival, where children will hunt for an Easter egg made of chocolate in an egg- shaped. This festival is to reminded British people on the born of Jesus. This is the time where the sun will shine more..during the day time it may be hot and at night the weather will be very cold. Temperature is about 18-30 Celcius during the day time, and about 10-15 celcius at night).
June - August this is the summer time when the sun will shine longer.. temperature in these month is about 30-39 Celcius. Which consider very hot as normally UK will be very cold with rain. There is a shopping feast for Summer sales which most shops in UK will give discount up to 70%. There is a tennis Wimbledon which is the sport which UK citizens give a lot of intested to watch during Summer.. the day light will be very long, the sun will set at about 8-9 pm at night!!!
September - November this is when the first semister term begins.. most schools are boarding schools so parents will prepare their children the new school uniform and school stuff.. ready to send off their children to dometry. It is the time when the tress turned yellow, and the leaves will fall off. Cold and strong wind will begin in early October. The day light will be shorter than summer time.
Dec - Feb this is the time of joy for British people and most of the Western citizents. It is the time that family will gather together for Christmas dinner on 24th December. Then on 25th Dec, most children will get up early to open thier presents underneth the Christmas tree (prepared by their parents). on 26th December, is the biggest year sales, called the Boxing Day.. again most of the brand names or goods will be discounted up to 80%..
Christmas holiday will be during 24-26 December..but most of people will take a whole week off until after New Year.. so this is the time to reset your self and be with your beloved family.. the weather is ususally cold with snow. The day time will be the shortest.. the sun will set at about 5 or 6 pm.
