Scholars and postgraduate students are invited to submit research papers, which will be divided into four main areas of study as follows: 1. Buddhist Textual Studies (study based on specific 2. The teachings of the Buddha (specific topics dealing with the fundamental teachings of the Buddha, e.g. 3. Buddhism and Contemporary Issues (Applied Buddhism; engaged Buddhism and meditation) 4. Buddhist Organizations (e.g. study of Buddhist organizations devoted to propagation of Buddhism, promotion of Buddhist Education) The length of each paper should be between 1,500 to 1,700 words. A PowerPoint presentation (around 15 minutes) is strongly recommended. The papers should be in English and Pali. Scholars who wish to present their research papers in the Chinese or Thai language should send their research papers in advance for the purpose of translation.
