Triyampavai – Tripavai Royal Ceremonies

 

                There was an oldest evidence of Triyampavai - Tripavai ceremonies in Thailand, Founded in Phnom Rung Palaeography No.9 in Buriram Province which cam be datad back to 18 B.E.. After this period, Triyampavai - Tripavai ceremonies was continually celebrated from Sukhothai, Ayudhya and Rattanakosin Period. Triyampavai -  Tripavai ceremony was contained in Royel ceremonies in the Twelve months as kot monthienban, but it was changed by their own pattern following political situation and not to be structure.
                Triyampavai -  Tripavai ceremonies in the southern Brahmin Ceremonies of India and counted to be a Brahmin new year’s ceremonies, which run at the beginning of winter as starting time of Sun Circle’s year. There was praying ceremony to invite all those gods in Brahmins from heaven to earth for respective. And also to be a commemoration of his mercy and and important of those gods to gave us a fertility of plantation and wishing to a stability society. Those Brahma a have to made themselves in a priesthood for all the ceremonies period. Triyampavai - Tripavai are two continuous ceremonies.
                The Triyampavai ceremonies were held for welcoming Shiva from Mount Kailasa to the human world. His staying lasted for 10 days, form the seventh day of waxing moon in the first month lunar month to the first day of the waning moon. Tn the period which Shiva stayed in the world, human flavors to pray for and make a merit because they though that it wall be good for themselves to have a chance to pay a respect to their god. The one who received their wash will come to pay back and getting some new wish every year. Brahma swung the Giant Swing to welcoming Shiva. For all 10 days of ceremonies, the sacred text was read to celebrate Shiva and the popped rice and flower was offering to the god in Brahmin Temple. In the last day, Brahmin will composed the ceremony of lulling hamsa to sent Shiva back to Mount Kailasa.
                The Tripavai ceremonies is a continuous ceremony of Triyampavai as a welcoming Narayana who came from the center of milk ocean in the first day of the waning moon of the second lunar month to the fifth day of the waning moon in the same month. Narayana was stayed in the world for all together 5 days. The five days of ceremonices was held like a Triyampavai, but there were no awung of the Giant Swing and changed some praying text. In the last day, Brahmins were celebrated lulling hamsa.
