ชีวิตที่พอเพียง : ๖๙๒. สุขใจจากไม่ทำงาน

 

          ที่จริงน่าจะให้ชื่อบันทึกว่า “สุขใจจากการทำงานแบบไม่ทำงาน”    คือในการทำงานให้แก่ PMA Conference ในหน้าที่ประธานจัดการประชุมนั้น   ผมได้ฝึกวิธีทำงานแบบไม่ทำงาน   เป็นวิธีที่ผมมีความสุข เพราะได้ฝึกวิธีทำงานแบบใหม่    และเป็นวิธีทำงานที่ผมไม่เหนื่อย

          คงจะเป็นเพราะมีการแบ่งหน้าที่รับผิดชอบกันชัดเจน และทำงานเข้าขากันดี   การประชุมนี้จึงประสบความสำเร็จสูงยิ่ง    อ่านรายละเอียดของ PMA Conference 2009 ได้ที่ www.pmaconference.org  

          PMA Conference ได้ทำให้ประเทศไทยค่อยๆ กลายเป็นศูนย์กลางของการขับเคลื่อนระบบสุขภาพโลก   อ่านร่องรอยนี้ได้จาก http://www.who.int/healthmetrics/news/G8FollowUp290109/en/index.html  

          ปีหน้า PMA Conference 2010 จะจัดร่วมกับ HMN (Health Metrics Network)  เรื่อง ระบบข้อมูลุขภาพ   เราประชุมเตรียมการขั้นต้นไปแล้วเมื่อวันที่ ๓๑ ม.ค. ๕๒   โดยผมเป็นประธานการประชุมแบบ “ไม่ทำหน้าที่เอง”    คือมอบหมายให้ “ประธานตัวจริง” คือ นพ. สุวิทย์ วิบุลผลประเสริฐ ทำหน้าที่ประธานในที่ประชุม    ผมอยู่ร่วมตลอดการประชุมเพื่อจะได้เข้าใจภาพรวม   และคอยช่วยเหลือภาพรวมอยู่ห่างๆ เท่านั้น

          2010 Health Information Forum to be held in Bangkok

          The 2010 Health Information Forum will be held in Bangkok from 26-29 January 2010 and will be co-hosted by HMN, WHO and the World Bank in conjunction with the Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC).  The HMN Secretariat and PMAC organizers discussed the details of this coming event, which follows a HMN Board decision of October 2008.  The conference will showcase the opportunities and challenges of building effective health information systems, including the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration and incentives to promote the reporting of data at district, regional and national levels.

          The policy recommendations of the G8 Hokkaido Toyako follow-up meeting this week in Bangkok already highlighted the increasing importance of health information systems in many countries.  Organizers of the 2010 Forum aim to build on this momentum and encourage further global commitment and investment in integrated systems to improve public health decision-making and accountability.
