My info says dessert and ice cream contain 'a lot' of sugar (especially high fructose syrup) and exercises like jogging for 1 hour would only burn about 400 Calories. To put it another way, our (human) body works very efficiently, and burn a lot less Calories than a car.

According to estimates, 1 tea spoon of (white/brown/coffee) sugar = 4.1 g and 1 gram of sugar = 4 Calories (thus 1 tsp of sugar = 16.4 Calories = 6.7 minutes of physical exercise).

If we drink 4 coffees (with 1 tsp of sugar without milk, nor biscuits nor ...) a day, we would already need nearly 30 minutes of exercise just to burn off sugar (in coffee).
