IPCC report
We have this “Code Red” report for a few days now. I have seen no response from our (local and higher) governments. I am reading the [ https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2020/05/2020-AC6_en.pdf ] and trying to find answers using [ https://interactive-atlas.ipcc.ch/ ] and coming to see this as a very useful tool for planning. With a little help, we can all use this --interactive atlas-- for many things. It is a report that people can - use -. But, we need help on how to ask questions and how to understand the answers.
I am attaching my note below. And I am hoping to see more contribution(esp. in Thai) from Gotoknowers.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change. IPCC established by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2010, the Green Climate Fund (GCF) is mandated to help the world avoid the dangerous trajectory highlighted by the IPCC Report by financing climate action in developing countries. GCF bases its activities as the world’s largest dedicated climate fund on the latest scientific evidence.
--The GCF is established by 194 countries party to the UNFCCC in 2010, based in Incheon, South Korea.--

Hundreds of experts in different fields volunteer their time and expertise (some are invited) to produce IPCC reports. These scientists are not paid by the IPCC. Some provide data, references, specific knowledge and expertise in some certain areas, some provide critical reviews to ensure appropriate consideration on the basis of the best scientific, technical and social-economic information available. --Weather Forecast based on the best Physical siceince available.--
IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6), released on 9 August 2021, emphasizes dangers of Climate Change, warns that without immediate, rapid and large-scale reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, it will be impossible to limit warming close to 1.5°C or even 2°C. This facility is very useful for planning in agriculture, aquaculture, dwelling/housing, soicial and economic infrastructure and employment.
