ไต้ฝุ่น 'ทุเรียน'

ภัยธรรมชาติที่ใกล้ตัวคนไทยภัยหนึ่งคือ ภัยไต้ฝุ่น นั่นเอง

ดิฉันเป็นคนอ่อนไหว กับภัยพิบัติในรูปลักษณ์ต่างๆ โลกใบนี้เป็นผืนน้ำมากกว่า 90% มีส่วนที่เป็นเปลือกโลก ผิวโลกเพียงน้อยนิด ก็มีภัยพิบัติมากมายหลายหลาก แล้วคนบนโลกบางคน ก็ยังทำสงคราม ฆ่ากันเอง แทนที่จะห่วงเรื่องการเอาตัวรอด หากเกิดภัยธรรมชาติที่รุนแรงขึ้นมา อย่างภัยสึนามิ ที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อปี 2004

ภัยธรรมชาติล่าสุดใกล้ไทย ก็คือภัยพายุไต้ฝุ่นทุเรียน  ผลของการทดลองใช้ keyword " durian+storm " นั้น มีคำตอบมากเกินคาด

ผลการค้นหา 1 - 10 รายการจากประมาณ 1,490,000 สำหรับคำว่า durian+storm.

ความรุนแรงของพายุนี้มีความรุนแรงระดับ 4 มีความแรงของลมที่ 120mph

ถ้าได้เห็นภาพ จะเห็นถึงความเลวร้าย และจะย้อนวันเวลาถอยไปเมื่อ 2 ปีก่อนที่หลายๆ ประเทศริมมหาสมุทรอินเดียประสบชะตากรรมร่วมกัน เหมือนได้เห็นภาพย้อนรอยสึนามิซ้ำอีกครั้งในปีนี้

เหตุที่ทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตจำนวนมาที่ฟิลิปปินส์ก็สืบเนื่องจากดินถล่มนั่นเอง จากข่าว Yahoo พบว่า เมื่อวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม มีการคาดประมาณว่าจะมีผู้เสียชีวิตจำนวน 198 คนจากโคลนถล่ม  แต่ล่าสุด วันที่ 3 ธันวาคม มีการประเมินจำนวนผู้เสียชีวิตใหม่ว่า อาจจะมีผู้เสียชีวิตมากกว่า 1,000 คนจากโศกนาฎกรรมโคลนถล่มในครั้งนี้  (อ่านเพิ่ม Yahoo New - Dec 1st , และ Dec 3rd)

รอยเตอร์เตือนภัย ทำการพยากรณ์การเดินทางของพายุทุเรียนลูกนี้ โดยมีการประเมินว่า พายุจะขึ้นฝั่งเวียตนามในวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม ด้วยความเร็วของลมที่ 97mph หรือมีความรุนแรงในระดับ 2 (category 2) ณ ความรุนแรงระดับนี้ พายุอาจก่อความเสียหายได้แก่

• คลื่นลมแรง สูงกว่า 1.8-2.4 เมตรจากระดับปกติ
• หลังคา หน้าต่าง หรือประตูอาจจะถูกพัดปลิวได้
• กิ่งไม้หัก หรือต้นไม้โค่นล้ม
• สิ่งปลูกสร้างไม่มั่นคง เช่น บ้านเคลื่อนที่ ป้ายโฆษณา หรือท่าเรือ อาจจะถูกพายุทำลายได้
• อาจจะมีน้ำท่วมบริเวณชายฝั่ง หรือพื้นที่ที่น้ำท่วมถึง
• เรือเล็กไม่สมควรออกจากฝั่ง
• และถ้ามีฝนตกหนัก ก็อาจจะก่อให้เกิดน้ำท่วมขังได้
