ประโยชน์ที่ได้จากการทำ ShotCut

วิธีสร้าง Shortcut บน Desktop <dd>1. ให้ Click ปุ่มด้านขวาของ mouse บน Desktop ที่ว่างเปล่า </dd><dd>2. เลือก New, Shortcut </dd><dd>3. ในช่อง Command line ให้พิมพ์คำสั่งที่ต้องการลงไป เช่น c:\windows\command.com เป็นต้น

วิธีเปลี่ยน icon ของ Shortcut </dd><dd>1. ให้ Click ปุ่มด้านขวาของ mouse บน icon ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยน </dd><dd>2. เลือก properties แล้วเลือก tab ของ program </dd><dd>3. ที่ด้านล่างจะมีปุ่มชื่อ Change Icon </dd><dd>4. จากนั้นเลือก Icon จาก list ที่มีให้ได้

คำสั่งที่แนะนำให้สร้าง Shortcut ไว้ใช้งาน <ul>• สำหรับ Restart เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ (Me,98) <dd>

c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec

• สำหรับ Shutdown เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ (Me,98) </dd>

c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows

• สำหรับ เปิด browser พร้อมเรียก url ที่ต้องการ โดยไม่ต้อง set preferences

(การ set ที่ shortcut จะทำให้การเรียก url ใน preference ไม่มีผล ตัวอย่างนี้ใช้กับ netscape)

c:\windows\explorer http://www.thaiall.com

• สำหรับ เรียกโปรแกรม Turbo pascal 7 ใน windows mode

c:\tp7\turbo.exe

(ถ้าไม่ set ตามข้างล่างนี้ จะทำ Windows restart ตัวเองเข้า MS-DOS mode เพื่อเรียกใช้ c:\tp7\turbo.exe)

คำสั่งที่ใช้เรียกจะธรรมดา แต่ที่พิเศษคือ การกำหนด Properties ของ Tab Program, Advanced

ซึ่งต้องกำหนดให้ เช็คถูกใน 2 ช่องนี้
